Mara Canlas, CMT is a graduate of the Institute for Therapeutic Massage's Oncology Program. The 750-hour program is the first, and currently, only, COMTA-approved program of its kind in the country. She is a massage therapist for Compassionate Care Hospice, working to provide comfort to patients at the inpatient units in Dover and Jersey City.
Drawn to bodywork by the human connection it fosters, Mara is excited to be able to work with populations that sorely need the support. She is excited to begin her own practice and looks forward to continuing with her massage education.
Mara also loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker, backpacker and rock climber.
